Because You Were There

An immersive and interactive experience about community and the frustrations faced by immigrant groups in colonist countries, as told through the example of the Moluccans in the Netherlands.

Utilizes a custom controller to move the player within a virtual space in Unity. The virtual space is displayed on a large screen at eye level, around 2 meters from the users. The experience uses a single audio channel but should be played through 2 speakers, one on either side of the screen
